Meet Barclay Goff

It all started when…

Barclay spent seventeen years serving customers at Wickes Lumber in four locations across the Midwest, the last one bringing him to Midland, Michigan in 1987, where he and his bride of 43 years, Sherry, still reside. In 1993, Barclay became a road representative for Vetter Windows, with customers in Clare, Ludington, Cadillac, Traverse City, St Helen, Gaylord, Charlevoix, Petoskey, and Alpena. Continuous travel throughout Northern Michigan gave Barclay a substantial area knowledge that enabled him to confidently purchase his own lakefront property on Benway Lake, on the beautiful Upper Chain of Lakes. Barclay’s family and friends have enjoyed this getaway for the past 19 years.

For the past eight years, Barclay has been able to share his knowledge of Northern Michigan’s beautiful and diverse waterfront and vacation areas, and its lakes and streams, with the buyer clients he represents for bluNorth Realty.

By being a property owner in the Antrim County Upper Chain-of-Lakes region, Barclay has gained valuable and detailed knowledge of the area. But he is not limited to this single area alone and has worked with clients on property from Manistee to Tawas and Indian River to Gladwin.

Barclay works exclusively as Buyers Agent or an agent representing the buyer, and as such, can show and get information for every property that is listed for sale in any part of Northern Michigan. He also previews property so there are no surprises when you do come up to see it. If you are looking for property anywhere in Northern Michigan, that is his territory and he knows it well. All this come to you at no cost. Take the opportunity to give Barclay your getaway property wants and needs, and be assured...he will find the property that is right of YOU. That’s what he does, and he does it well.

Barclay and Sherry spend a lot of time at their lake cottage between Central Lake and Ellsworth, along with their three daughters’ families and four grandchildren. Although the family is spread from Denver to Portland, OR, they manage to visit almost every summer because they grew up with a lake property and they want their own families to share the enjoyment.
